Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the declined 1.13%.
The best performers of the session on the were Elisa Oyj (HE:), which rose 0.87% or 0.38 points to trade at 43.84 at the close. Meanwhile, Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:) added 0.82% or 0.32 points to end at 39.46 and Mandatum Oyj (HE:) was up 0.24% or 0.01 points to 4.11 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kojamo (HE:), which fell 9.61% or 1.02 points to trade at 9.59 at the close. Nordea Bank Abp (HE:) declined 3.82% or 0.42 points to end at 10.57 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:) was down 1.87% or 0.35 points to 18.39.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 112 to 63 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.82% or 0.32 to 39.46.
Brent oil for September delivery was down 0.21% or 0.18 to $84.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.28% or 0.23 to hit $80.79 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.71% or 17.20 to trade at $2,437.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.06% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 103.81.
