Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the added 0.37% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the were Gubre Fabrikalari TAS (IS:), which rose 9.96% or 15.20 points to trade at 167.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Goltas Goller Bolgesi Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:) added 5.63% or 29.50 points to end at 553.50 and Mia Teknoloji AS (IS:) was up 5.54% or 3.05 points to 58.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Katilimevim Tasarruf Finansman AS (IS:), which fell 9.98% or 5.38 points to trade at 48.52 at the close. Peker Gayrimenkul Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:) declined 9.22% or 0.71 points to end at 6.99 and Alfa Solar Enerji AS (IS:) was down 6.48% or 4.85 points to 69.95.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Peker Gayrimenkul Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 9.22% or 0.71 to 6.99.
Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.75% or 18.20 to $2,438.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.27% or 0.22 to hit $80.80 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 0.24% or 0.20 to trade at $84.83 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.03% to 33.01, while EUR/TRY rose 0.08% to 36.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 103.81.
