Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the fell 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:), which rose 0.92% or 0.12 points to trade at 12.59 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes ABP (HE:) added 0.81% or 0.45 points to end at 55.70 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:) was up 0.79% or 0.06 points to 7.96 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:), which fell 2.51% or 0.09 points to trade at 3.53 at the close. Elisa Oyj (HE:) declined 2.47% or 1.08 points to end at 42.66 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:) was down 1.62% or 0.06 points to 3.34.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 97 to 72 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Konecranes ABP (HE:) rose to all time highs; rising 0.81% or 0.45 to 55.70.
Brent oil for September delivery was down 1.03% or 0.87 to $83.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.13% or 0.91 to hit $79.93 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.62% or 39.35 to trade at $2,468.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 104.08.
