Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the lost 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the were Grupa KĘTY SA (WA:), which rose 2.70% or 22.50 points to trade at 855.00 at the close. Meanwhile, mBank SA (WA:) added 0.98% or 6.20 points to end at 641.00 and Bank Millennium SA (WA:) was up 0.68% or 0.07 points to 9.66 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were KGHM Polska Miedz SA (WA:), which fell 3.41% or 4.85 points to trade at 137.40 at the close. CD PROJEKT SA (WA:) declined 2.66% or 4.30 points to end at 157.50 and CCC SA (WA:) was down 2.32% or 2.90 points to 122.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 262 to 226 and 118 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.56% or 1.27 to $80.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.27% or 1.08 to hit $84.03 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.98% or 48.60 to trade at $2,407.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was unchanged 0.01% to 4.29, while USD/PLN unchanged 0.06% to 3.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 104.04.
