Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the fell 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the were Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:), which rose 1.03% or 0.75 points to trade at 73.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker BP ASA (OL:) added 0.93% or 2.40 points to end at 261.60 and Telenor ASA (OL:) was up 0.39% or 0.50 points to 128.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:), which fell 1.99% or 2.90 points to trade at 142.95 at the close. Frontline Ltd (OL:) declined 1.48% or 4.10 points to end at 272.80 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:) was down 1.26% or 14.00 points to 1,096.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 155 to 126 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.30% or 0.23 to $77.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.14% or 0.11 to hit $81.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.00% or 24.15 to trade at $2,431.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.01% to 11.96, while USD/NOK rose 0.11% to 11.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 103.92.
