Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the rose 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the were Kontrolmatik Teknoloji Enerji ve Mu (IS:), which rose 9.95% or 4.86 points to trade at 53.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Arcelik AS (IS:) added 8.53% or 15.00 points to end at 190.80 and Turkiye Sinai Kalkinma Bankasi AS (IS:) was up 4.52% or 0.55 points to 12.72 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Turkiye Sigorta AS (IS:), which fell 5.93% or 4.00 points to trade at 63.50 at the close. Kocaer Celik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:) declined 4.41% or 2.25 points to end at 48.80 and Mia Teknoloji AS (IS:) was down 3.62% or 2.30 points to 61.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 290 to 264 and 17 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for August delivery was up 1.27% or 29.90 to $2,383.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 2.27% or 1.78 to hit $76.50 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 2.21% or 1.82 to trade at $80.55 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.09% to 32.98, while EUR/TRY unchanged 0.00% to 35.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 104.11.
