The 2026 FIFA World Cup has landed in America and soccer fans everywhere are enjoying the tournament.

Those soccer fans also include some of the biggest stars in Hollywood, including Tom Cruise, David Beckham and Katy Perry, who were all spotted in the stands during matches.

Whether they performed ahead of the matches or attended as a fan, the World Cup has attracted many celebrities.

Tom Cruise and David Beckham

Tom Cruise and David Beckham were all smiles as they waved to fans while sitting next to each other during the World Cup match played between USA and Paraguay in Los Angeles.

The two were later joined by David’s wife, Victoria Beckham, who also enjoyed the match.

Katy Perry took to the stage ahead of the USA versus Paraguay match in Los Angeles to sing her song “Wonder,” and was joined by Norwegian singer Tius, who sang on the original track.

After her performance, Perry was spotted watching the match in the stands with her boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The actor, who is also the co-owner of Wrexham, a Welsh professional soccer club, was spotted cheering Canada on during their game against Bosnia and Herzegovina at Toronto Stadium.

Shakira brought the house down when she performed at the opening ceremony for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Mexico City.

The singer performed the song “Dai Dai” at the ceremony which took place before the match between Mexico and South Africa. The song is the official anthem for the World Cup this year, marking the fourth time the singer has been chosen to sing the anthem for the competition.

In the past, the anthems included her songs, “Hips Don’t Lie (Bamboo Mix),” “”Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)” and “La La La.”

The “From Dusk Till Dawn” star, who was born in Mexico, attended the opening ceremony as the tournament’s official Global Ambassador.

As part of her role as Global Ambassador, Hayek delivered a speech in Spanish to those watching and in attendance to officially kick off the games.
