Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 0.85%.
The best performers of the session on the were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which rose 9.96% or 3,640.00 points to trade at 40,200.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:) added 5.45% or 3,910.00 points to end at 75,630.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.26% or 500.00 points to 15,830.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:), which fell 1.98% or 43.00 points to trade at 2,128.00 at the close. Electra Ltd (TASE:) declined 1.92% or 2,790.00 points to end at 142,660.00 and Strauss Group (TASE:) was down 1.91% or 106.00 points to 5,435.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 307 to 137 and 95 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.26% or 500.00 to 15,830.00. Shares in Strauss Group (TASE:) fell to 5-year lows; losing 1.91% or 106.00 to 5,435.00.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.61% or 1.24 to $75.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.54% or 1.24 to hit $79.04 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.10 to trade at $2,426.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.71% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 1.27% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 104.41.
