Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:), which rose 3.62% or 32.00 points to trade at 915.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NKT Holding (CSE:) added 2.63% or 15.50 points to end at 604.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) was up 2.25% or 12.50 points to 569.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:), which fell 0.67% or 2.70 points to trade at 402.60 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) added 0.05% or 5.00 points to end at 11,070.00 and Genmab (CSE:) was up 0.08% or 1.50 points to 1,946.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 43 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.36% or 1.03 to $74.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.15% or 0.91 to hit $78.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 7.20 to trade at $2,432.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 104.42.
