Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Paris, the rose 0.76%, while the index added 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the were Teleperformance SE (EPA:), which rose 10.37% or 11.20 points to trade at 119.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Legrand SA (EPA:) added 6.50% or 6.10 points to end at 99.88 and Airbus Group SE (EPA:) was up 4.78% or 6.38 points to 139.96 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Accor SA (EPA:), which fell 1.30% or 0.47 points to trade at 35.57 at the close. BNP Paribas SA (EPA:) declined 1.21% or 0.78 points to end at 63.46 and Kering SA (EPA:) was down 1.01% or 2.90 points to 284.50.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Euroapi SAS (EPA:) which rose 11.16% to 3.72, Teleperformance SE (EPA:) which was up 10.37% to settle at 119.20 and X Fab Silicon Foundries EV (EPA:) which gained 7.54% to close at 5.92.
The worst performers were SCOR SE (EPA:) which was down 6.20% to 19.81 in late trade, Atos SE (EPA:) which lost 3.27% to settle at 0.98 and Vusiongroup SA (EPA:) which was down 2.46% to 134.90 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 258 to 222 and 103 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.64% or 15.70 to $2,467.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 3.57% or 2.67 to hit $77.40 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 3.06% or 2.39 to trade at $80.46 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.02% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 103.95.
