Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 5.91% or 0.46 points to trade at 8.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL:) added 4.96% or 0.35 points to end at 7.41 and National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:) was up 3.58% or 7.40 points to 214.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:), which fell 9.99% or 1.92 points to trade at 17.30 at the close. Kingdom Holding Company (TADAWUL:) declined 8.00% or 0.80 points to end at 9.20 and Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) was down 7.14% or 1.20 points to 15.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 210 to 83 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.81% or 0.63 to $78.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.74% or 0.60 to hit $81.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.86% or 21.35 to trade at $2,494.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.26% to 4.05, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 104.11.
