Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the declined 2.61% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the were Kojamo (HE:), which rose 4.30% or 0.40 points to trade at 9.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Elisa Oyj (HE:) added 0.65% or 0.28 points to end at 43.66 and Orion Oyj B (HE:) was up 0.28% or 0.12 points to 42.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:), which fell 7.40% or 0.49 points to trade at 6.14 at the close. Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:) declined 6.26% or 1.17 points to end at 17.54 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:) was down 5.49% or 4.50 points to 77.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 147 to 29 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) fell to 3-years lows; falling 7.40% or 0.49 to 6.14.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 2.72% or 2.16 to $77.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 3.07% or 2.34 to hit $73.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 6.00 to trade at $2,474.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 1.08% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP rose 0.68% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.04% at 103.12.
