Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the lost 2.78%.
The best performers of the session on the were Telenor ASA (OL:), which rose 0.85% or 1.10 points to trade at 131.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Orkla ASA (OL:) fell 0.38% or 0.35 points to end at 90.85 and Mowi ASA (OL:) was down 1.12% or 2.05 points to 181.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:), which fell 9.28% or 13.10 points to trade at 128.05 at the close. Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:) declined 8.06% or 5.90 points to end at 67.30 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:) was down 7.58% or 9.00 points to 109.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 254 to 40 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.29% or 2.51 to $73.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.92% or 2.32 to hit $77.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 8.10 to trade at $2,472.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 1.26% to 11.97, while USD/NOK rose 0.08% to 10.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.21% at 102.95.
