Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the lost 3.15% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the were Tele2 AB (ST:), which rose 1.77% or 1.95 points to trade at 112.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Essity AB B (ST:) added 1.63% or 4.90 points to end at 305.20 and Telia Company AB (ST:) was up 1.03% or 0.32 points to 31.42 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Investor AB ser. B (ST:), which fell 5.37% or 16.00 points to trade at 282.00 at the close. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:) declined 4.97% or 7.95 points to end at 152.00 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:) was down 4.79% or 4.20 points to 83.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 659 to 141 and 61 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tele2 AB (ST:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.77% or 1.95 to 112.00.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.95% or 2.25 to $74.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.62% or 2.08 to hit $77.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.70 to trade at $2,480.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.27% to 11.55, while USD/SEK fell 1.24% to 10.59.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.04% at 103.12.
