Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the gained 1.63%.
The best performers of the session on the were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:), which rose 8.17% or 0.50 points to trade at 6.59 at the close. Meanwhile, Sinch AB (ST:) added 5.59% or 1.40 points to end at 26.45 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:) was up 2.72% or 3.95 points to 149.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:), which fell 0.83% or 2.50 points to trade at 297.00 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:) unchanged 0.05% or 0.00 points to end at 43.50 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:) was up 0.29% or 0.40 points to 136.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 604 to 177 and 65 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.25% or 2.38 to $75.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.82% or 2.16 to hit $78.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 3.50 to trade at $2,435.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.67% to 11.42, while USD/SEK fell 0.61% to 10.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 103.00.
