The best performers of the session on the were EverFocus Electronics Corp (TW:), which rose 10.00% or 6.60 points to trade at 72.60 at the close. Meanwhile, FocalTech Systems Co Ltd (TW:) added 10.00% or 7.00 points to end at 77.00 and Favite Inc (TW:) was up 10.00% or 6.10 points to 67.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were King’s Town Construction Co Ltd (TW:), which fell 10.00% or 10.40 points to trade at 93.60 at the close. Hung Ching Development & Construction Co Ltd (TW:) declined 10.00% or 4.25 points to end at 38.25 and King Slide Works Co Ltd (TW:) was down 9.95% or 106.00 points to 959.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.05% or 0.04 to $75.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.18% or 0.14 to hit $78.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 2.15 to trade at $2,434.55 a troy ounce.
USD/TWD was down 0.60% to 32.47, while TWD/CNY unchanged 0.27% to 0.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 102.82.
