Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the gained 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the were Evolution AB (ST:), which rose 1.58% or 15.40 points to trade at 992.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (ST:) added 1.41% or 1.65 points to end at 118.95 and ABB Ltd (ST:) was up 1.07% or 5.80 points to 549.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:), which fell 3.34% or 0.22 points to trade at 6.37 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:) declined 2.59% or 2.10 points to end at 78.70 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:) was down 0.55% or 1.30 points to 236.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 401 to 337 and 94 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.80% or 0.60 to $75.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.46% or 0.36 to hit $78.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.14% or 27.85 to trade at $2,460.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.34% to 11.49, while USD/SEK rose 0.43% to 10.53.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 103.06.
