Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the added 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the were SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME:), which rose 1.47% or 0.16 points to trade at 11.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Sacyr SA (BME:) added 0.85% or 0.03 points to end at 3.09 and Endesa SA (BME:) was up 0.82% or 0.15 points to 17.92 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Puig Brands SA (BME:), which fell 1.93% or 0.45 points to trade at 22.82 at the close. Cellnex Telecom SA (BME:) declined 0.99% or 0.34 points to end at 34.04 and Inmobiliaria Colonial SA (BME:) was down 0.92% or 0.05 points to 5.36.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 101 to 70 and 46 ended unchanged.
Shares in Puig Brands SA (BME:) fell to all time lows; down 1.93% or 0.45 to 22.82.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.19% or 29.35 to $2,502.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 2.45% or 1.88 to hit $78.72 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 1.97% or 1.57 to trade at $81.23 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.11% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 102.99.
