Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 1.61%.
The best performers of the session on the were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which rose 3.26% or 5.10 points to trade at 160.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:) added 3.19% or 29.00 points to end at 938.50 and Rockwool International B (CSE:) was up 3.12% or 86.00 points to 2,840.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:), which fell 7.22% or 30.50 points to trade at 392.00 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:) declined 3.30% or 4.20 points to end at 122.90 and Pandora A/S (CSE:) was up 0.14% or 1.50 points to 1,062.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 51 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.99% or 1.53 to $78.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.97% or 1.57 to hit $81.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 13.20 to trade at $2,492.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.79, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 102.72.
