Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the fell 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:), which rose 4.37% or 207.00 points to trade at 4,940.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) added 3.94% or 106.00 points to end at 2,796.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:) was up 3.71% or 32.00 points to 894.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which fell 5.74% or 2,070.00 points to trade at 34,000.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:) declined 2.50% or 2,060.00 points to end at 80,250.00 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.41% or 370.00 points to 14,980.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 247 to 183 and 109 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.15% or 2.36 to $77.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.58% or 2.02 to hit $80.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 6.60 to trade at $2,552.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.15% to 3.68, while EUR/ILS fell 0.32% to 4.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 100.63.
