Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:), which rose 1.35% or 3.20 points to trade at 240.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:) added 1.10% or 0.07 points to end at 6.28 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:) was up 1.06% or 3.40 points to 323.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:), which fell 3.11% or 5.20 points to trade at 161.80 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:) declined 2.04% or 6.40 points to end at 307.60 and Evolution AB (ST:) was down 0.94% or 10.00 points to 1,055.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 414 to 326 and 94 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.11% or 0.84 to $74.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.12% or 0.88 to hit $77.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 12.60 to trade at $2,540.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.12% to 11.34, while USD/SEK rose 0.48% to 10.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 100.96.
