Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Kojamo (HE:), which rose 1.05% or 0.10 points to trade at 9.59 at the close. Meanwhile, Elisa Oyj (HE:) added 0.17% or 0.08 points to end at 46.08 and Kemira Oyj (HE:) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 21.86 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE:), which fell 4.67% or 0.95 points to trade at 19.29 at the close. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) declined 2.93% or 0.34 points to end at 11.09 and Metso Oyj (HE:) was down 2.79% or 0.25 points to 8.71.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 107 to 57 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Elisa Oyj (HE:) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.17% or 0.08 to 46.08.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.64% or 0.47 to $73.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.75% or 0.53 to hit $69.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 2.25 to trade at $2,525.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.12% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 101.31.
