Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Swedbank AB ser A (ST:), which rose 2.08% or 4.50 points to trade at 221.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:) added 1.84% or 0.12 points to end at 6.35 and Telia Company AB (ST:) was up 1.77% or 0.58 points to 33.34 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:), which fell 3.35% or 59.00 points to trade at 1,700.00 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:) declined 2.49% or 4.00 points to end at 154.70 and Investor AB ser. B (ST:) was down 2.48% or 7.50 points to 293.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 423 to 338 and 85 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telia Company AB (ST:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.77% or 0.58 to 33.34.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.12% or 0.08 to $69.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.12% or 0.09 to hit $72.79 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 12.25 to trade at $2,538.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.05% to 11.38, while USD/SEK fell 0.21% to 10.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 101.10.
