Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the added 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:), which rose 1.31% or 0.11 points to trade at 8.49 at the close. Meanwhile, Kesko Oyj (HE:) added 1.28% or 0.24 points to end at 18.60 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:) was up 1.25% or 0.13 points to 10.56 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kojamo (HE:), which fell 1.30% or 0.13 points to trade at 9.89 at the close. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:) declined 0.96% or 0.28 points to end at 29.00 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) was down 0.92% or 0.10 points to 10.76.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 93 to 81 and 15 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 0.55% or 0.39 to $71.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.90% or 0.61 to hit $68.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 4.10 to trade at $2,528.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.37% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 101.54.
