Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the added 1.51%.
The best performers of the session on the were Oersted AS (CSE:), which rose 5.53% or 22.50 points to trade at 429.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:) added 4.98% or 42.50 points to end at 895.50 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) was up 4.05% or 6.10 points to 155.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:), which fell 2.37% or 44.00 points to trade at 1,809.00 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:) declined 1.11% or 1.40 points to end at 124.90 and Tryg A/S (CSE:) was down 0.83% or 1.30 points to 154.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 60 to 52 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.97% or 0.64 to $66.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.65% or 0.45 to hit $69.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.45 to trade at $2,541.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.07% to 6.78, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 101.63.
