Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the rose 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:), which rose 4.35% or 0.30 points to trade at 7.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux AB Class B (ST:) added 4.12% or 3.80 points to end at 96.00 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:) was up 3.47% or 2.50 points to 75.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sinch AB (ST:), which fell 1.73% or 0.53 points to trade at 30.11 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:) declined 1.72% or 28.00 points to end at 1,600.00 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:) was down 1.44% or 1.50 points to 102.95.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 487 to 281 and 75 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.45% or 0.31 to $69.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.43% or 0.31 to hit $72.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.23% or 31.70 to trade at $2,612.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.60% to 11.32, while USD/SEK fell 0.65% to 10.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 101.06.
