Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the fell 1.12%.
The best performers of the session on the were Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:), which rose 7.36% or 4.65 points to trade at 67.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Tumosan Motor ve Traktor Sanayi AS (IS:) added 7.21% or 8.80 points to end at 130.90 and Gubre Fabrikalari TAS (IS:) was up 3.34% or 6.10 points to 188.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Borusan Birlesik Boru Fabrikalari Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:), which fell 4.61% or 26.50 points to trade at 548.50 at the close. Turk Telekomunikasyon AS (IS:) declined 3.72% or 1.86 points to end at 48.10 and ENKA Insaat ve Sanayi AS (IS:) was down 3.61% or 1.80 points to 48.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 301 to 259 and 18 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.08% or 2.10 to $2,608.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.48% or 1.00 to hit $68.75 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 1.30% or 0.93 to trade at $72.54 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.38% to 34.00, while EUR/TRY rose 0.51% to 37.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 100.45.
