Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the fell 0.91%.
The best performers of the session on the were Frontline Ltd (OL:), which rose 4.31% or 9.80 points to trade at 237.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:) added 3.80% or 2.46 points to end at 67.18 and Mowi ASA (OL:) was up 2.75% or 5.00 points to 187.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:), which fell 24.19% or 34.15 points to trade at 107.05 at the close. Subsea 7 SA (OL:) declined 6.99% or 12.70 points to end at 169.10 and Aker BP ASA (OL:) was down 4.94% or 11.30 points to 217.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 171 to 120 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Aker BP ASA (OL:) fell to 3-years lows; down 4.94% or 11.30 to 217.50.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.25% or 1.57 to $68.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.03% or 1.48 to hit $71.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 4.50 to trade at $2,689.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.21% to 11.74, while USD/NOK fell 0.45% to 10.52.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 100.37.
