Investing.com – France stocks were mixed after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the rose 2.33% to hit a new 3-months high, while the index lost 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the were LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE (EPA:), which rose 9.88% or 61.00 points to trade at 678.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Kering SA (EPA:) added 9.61% or 22.00 points to end at 250.95 and Hermes International SCA (EPA:) was up 9.10% or 185.00 points to 2,217.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teleperformance SE (EPA:), which fell 4.68% or 4.68 points to trade at 95.32 at the close. Thales (EPA:) declined 2.49% or 3.70 points to end at 144.65 and TotalEnergies SE (EPA:) was down 2.32% or 1.41 points to 59.30.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Beneteau SA (EPA:) which rose 15.92% to 10.12, Fnac Darty SA (EPA:) which was up 11.95% to settle at 30.45 and Opmobility SE (EPA:) which gained 10.66% to close at 8.66.
The worst performers were Ubisoft Entertainment (EPA:) which was down 13.38% to 9.89 in late trade, Teleperformance SE (EPA:) which lost 4.68% to settle at 95.32 and Sodexo SA (EPA:) which was down 3.55% to 76.00 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 303 to 174 and 105 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ubisoft Entertainment (EPA:) fell to 5-year lows; down 13.38% or 1.53 to 9.89.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.19% or 5.20 to $2,689.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 2.07% or 1.44 to hit $68.25 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.81% or 1.32 to trade at $71.58 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.38% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.31% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 100.31.
