Meanwhile, CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) added 5.39% or 2.15 points to end at 42.05 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:) was up 5.21% or 0.05 points to 1.01 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:), which fell 5.82% or 12.80 points to trade at 207.20 at the close. Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:) declined 4.43% or 1.35 points to end at 29.15 and Savola Group (TADAWUL:) was down 3.74% or 1.05 points to 27.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 181 to 111 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week highs; up 10.00% or 0.02 to 0.22. Shares in Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week highs; up 5.21% or 0.05 to 1.01.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.32% or 0.22 to $68.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.31% or 0.22 to hit $71.76 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 10.70 to trade at $2,657.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.28% to 4.20, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 100.11.
