Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the declined 1.14%.
The best performers of the session on the were Eczacibasi Yatirim Holding Ortakligi AS (IS:), which rose 4.25% or 8.40 points to trade at 206.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Hektas Ticaret TAS (IS:) added 3.71% or 0.16 points to end at 4.47 and Konya Cimento Sanayi AS (IS:) was up 3.03% or 205.00 points to 6,980.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Agrotech Yuksek Teknoloji ve Yatirim AS (IS:), which fell 7.37% or 1.11 points to trade at 13.95 at the close. Tekfen Holding AS (IS:) declined 5.20% or 2.85 points to end at 52.00 and AG Anadolu Group Holding (IS:) was down 4.95% or 16.25 points to 311.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 358 to 203 and 23 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.51% or 13.50 to $2,654.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.16% or 0.79 to hit $68.97 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.17% or 0.84 to trade at $72.38 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.09% to 34.19, while EUR/TRY fell 0.07% to 38.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 100.34.
