Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the gained 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the were Akzo Nobel NV (AS:), which rose 3.13% or 1.92 points to trade at 63.34 at the close. Meanwhile, Aegon Ltd (AS:) added 2.62% or 0.15 points to end at 5.71 and ING Groep NV (AS:) was up 1.19% or 0.19 points to 16.01 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wolters Kluwer (AS:), which fell 1.57% or 2.40 points to trade at 150.20 at the close. Relx PLC (AS:) declined 0.99% or 0.42 points to end at 41.84 and IMCD NV (AS:) was down 0.82% or 1.25 points to 152.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 69 to 26 and 16 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.60% or 1.18 to $74.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.42% or 1.10 to hit $78.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 6.65 to trade at $2,672.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.66% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.51% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 102.37.
