Investing.com – France stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the rose 0.85%, while the index fell 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the were Accor SA (EPA:), which rose 3.40% or 1.30 points to trade at 39.56 at the close. Meanwhile, Renault SA (EPA:) added 2.95% or 1.06 points to end at 36.97 and Teleperformance SE (EPA:) was up 2.89% or 2.72 points to 96.72 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pernod Ricard SA (EPA:), which fell 1.39% or 1.85 points to trade at 131.05 at the close. Eurofins Scientific SE (EPA:) declined 0.90% or 0.50 points to end at 55.00 and Danone SA (EPA:) was down 0.68% or 0.44 points to 64.02.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Ubisoft Entertainment (EPA:) which rose 33.52% to 14.20, Elis Services SA (EPA:) which was up 10.00% to settle at 20.46 and Eramet SA (EPA:) which gained 5.80% to close at 73.00.
The worst performers were Emeis SA (EPA:) which was down 5.30% to 5.40 in late trade, Verallia (EPA:) which lost 2.37% to settle at 25.58 and Pernod Ricard SA (EPA:) which was down 1.39% to 131.05 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 284 to 197 and 99 ended unchanged.
Shares in Verallia (EPA:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.37% or 0.62 to 25.58.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.27% or 7.30 to $2,671.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.63% or 1.20 to hit $74.91 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.42% or 1.10 to trade at $78.72 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.67% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.51% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 102.37.
