Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were EDP Renovaveis (ELI:), which rose 1.32% or 0.19 points to trade at 14.61 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI:) unchanged 0.83% or 0.00 points to end at 0.41 and EDP Energias de Portugal SA (ELI:) was up 0.62% or 0.02 points to 3.88 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Galp Energia Nom (ELI:), which fell 2.82% or 0.49 points to trade at 16.70 at the close. Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA (ELI:) declined 2.12% or 0.37 points to end at 17.08 and Altri SGPS SA (ELI:) was down 1.33% or 0.07 points to 5.18.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 19 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 4.39% or 3.55 to $77.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 4.42% or 3.41 to hit $73.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.22% or 32.55 to trade at $2,633.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.02% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.09% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 102.30.
