Investing.com – Germany stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the fell 0.17%, while the index declined 0.49%, and the index fell 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the were SAP SE (ETR:), which rose 2.35% or 4.70 points to trade at 205.00 at the close. Meanwhile, E.ON SE (ETR:) added 1.50% or 0.19 points to end at 12.86 and Hannover Rueck SE (ETR:) was up 1.39% or 3.40 points to 247.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dr Ing hc F Porsche AG Preferred (ETR:), which fell 4.00% or 2.84 points to trade at 68.20 at the close. BASF SE NA O.N. (ETR:) declined 3.60% or 1.74 points to end at 46.58 and Siemens AG Class N (ETR:) was down 2.28% or 4.20 points to 180.18.
The top performers on the MDAX were Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which rose 4.08% to 39.05, Hypoport AG (ETR:) which was up 2.01% to settle at 294.00 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which gained 1.91% to close at 95.85.
The worst performers were HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which was down 5.00% to 9.23 in late trade, Befesa SA (ETR:) which lost 4.22% to settle at 25.40 and Kion Group AG (ETR:) which was down 3.90% to 35.24 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were SAP SE (ETR:) which rose 2.35% to 205.00, Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which was up 1.91% to settle at 95.85 and Eckert & Ziegler AG O.N. (ETR:) which gained 1.88% to close at 41.28.
The worst performers were Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR:) which was down 3.74% to 65.70 in late trade, Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which lost 3.56% to settle at 5.82 and SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:) which was down 3.28% to 17.38 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 395 to 228 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.08% or 1.53 to 39.05.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 0.96% to 18.38.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 1.27% or 33.95 to $2,632.05 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 4.43% or 3.42 to hit $73.72 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 4.42% or 3.58 to trade at $77.35 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.02% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.08% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 102.31.
