Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the fell 1.14%.
The best performers of the session on the were Fortum Oyj (HE:), which rose 1.19% or 0.17 points to trade at 14.01 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HE:) added 1.02% or 0.49 points to end at 48.45 and Kojamo (HE:) was up 0.83% or 0.08 points to 9.69 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:), which fell 5.05% or 0.32 points to trade at 6.02 at the close. Neste Oyj (HE:) declined 4.43% or 0.77 points to end at 16.51 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) was down 3.86% or 0.47 points to 11.84.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 114 to 55 and 20 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 4.45% or 3.60 to $77.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 4.47% or 3.45 to hit $73.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.29% or 34.50 to trade at $2,631.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.02% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 102.31.
