Investing.com – Belgium stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Brussels, the added 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the were Anheuser Busch Inbev SA NV (EBR:), which rose 1.48% or 0.88 points to trade at 60.48 at the close. Meanwhile, Aedifica (EBR:) added 1.20% or 0.75 points to end at 63.35 and Solvay SA (EBR:) was up 1.13% or 0.43 points to 38.43 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Syensqo SA (EBR:), which fell 2.97% or 2.25 points to trade at 73.44 at the close. Umicore SA (EBR:) declined 2.30% or 0.25 points to end at 10.61 and Aperam SA (AS:) was down 1.78% or 0.46 points to 25.34.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Brussels Stock Exchange by 49 to 47 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Solvay SA (EBR:) rose to all time highs; rising 1.13% or 0.43 to 38.43.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.62% or 16.60 to $2,682.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 5.23% or 3.86 to hit $69.97 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 5.03% or 3.90 to trade at $73.56 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.10% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.27% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 102.97.
