Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Madrid, the lost 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the were Laboratorios Farmaceuticos ROVI (BME:), which rose 1.18% or 0.90 points to trade at 77.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Repsol (BME:) added 0.85% or 0.10 points to end at 11.82 and Industria de Diseno Textil SA (BME:) was up 0.34% or 0.18 points to 53.88 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sacyr SA (BME:), which fell 5.24% or 0.17 points to trade at 3.11 at the close. SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME:) declined 3.23% or 0.35 points to end at 10.50 and Inmobiliaria Colonial SA (BME:) was down 2.56% or 0.16 points to 5.89.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 130 to 64 and 24 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.21% or 5.60 to $2,735.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.83% or 1.26 to hit $69.95 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.51% or 1.10 to trade at $74.16 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.40% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 103.75.
