Investing.com – Germany stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the declined 1.02%, while the index declined 0.76%, and the index declined 1.36%.
The best performers of the session on the were Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N. (ETR:), which rose 0.84% or 0.28 points to trade at 33.73 at the close. Meanwhile, Rheinmetall AG (ETR:) added 0.47% or 2.30 points to end at 490.40 and Dr Ing hc F Porsche AG Preferred (ETR:) was up 0.42% or 0.28 points to 67.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:), which fell 4.81% or 12.80 points to trade at 253.40 at the close. Munich Reinsurance (ETR:) declined 2.95% or 14.90 points to end at 490.30 and Vonovia SE (ETR:) was down 2.64% or 0.85 points to 31.30.
The top performers on the MDAX were TeamViewer AG (ETR:) which rose 5.15% to 13.16, Fresenius Medical Care KGAA ST (ETR:) which was up 3.39% to settle at 39.05 and Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which gained 3.20% to close at 31.00.
The worst performers were Befesa SA (ETR:) which was down 3.51% to 23.64 in late trade, Stabilus (ETR:) which lost 3.49% to settle at 35.95 and Tag Immobilien AG (ETR:) which was down 3.15% to 15.70 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were TeamViewer AG (ETR:) which rose 5.15% to 13.16, Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which was up 3.20% to settle at 31.00 and Nagarro SE (ETR:) which gained 3.17% to close at 96.00.
The worst performers were Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:) which was down 4.81% to 253.40 in late trade, Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR:) which lost 3.01% to settle at 62.85 and Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (ETR:) which was down 2.57% to 29.98 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 424 to 213 and 31 ended unchanged.
Shares in Befesa SA (ETR:) fell to 3-years lows; losing 3.51% or 0.86 to 23.64. Shares in Nagarro SE (ETR:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 3.17% or 2.95 to 96.00.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 3.45% to 16.02.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.23% or 6.15 to $2,736.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.88% or 1.29 to hit $69.98 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.56% or 1.14 to trade at $74.20 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.41% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 103.75.
