Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the lost 0.53% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Iktinos Hellas (AT:), which rose 2.85% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.29 at the close. Meanwhile, Profile Syst (AT:) added 1.92% or 0.10 points to end at 5.30 and Intralot (AT:) was up 1.89% or 0.02 points to 1.08 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT:), which fell 3.08% or 0.06 points to trade at 1.89 at the close. Lavipharm SA (AT:) declined 2.31% or 0.02 points to end at 0.76 and Titan Cement International SA (AT:) was down 1.97% or 0.65 points to 32.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 86 to 34 and 17 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.99% or 27.25 to $2,732.55 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.30% or 0.93 to hit $70.81 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.29% or 0.98 to trade at $75.06 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.24% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 104.35.
