Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the fell 0.82% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Heineken (AS:), which rose 2.62% or 2.02 points to trade at 79.00 at the close. Meanwhile, DSM Firmenich AG (AS:) added 0.92% or 1.05 points to end at 115.25 and Exor NV (AS:) was up 0.61% or 0.60 points to 98.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Akzo Nobel NV (AS:), which fell 3.52% or 2.22 points to trade at 60.88 at the close. Randstad NV (AS:) declined 2.47% or 1.09 points to end at 43.08 and Unilever PLC (AS:) was down 2.31% or 1.32 points to 55.82.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 75 to 24 and 8 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.69% or 1.21 to $70.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.66% or 1.26 to hit $74.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.95% or 26.35 to trade at $2,733.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.19% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 104.31.
