The best performers of the session on the were Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:), which rose 1.64% or 0.36 points to trade at 22.34 at the close. Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE:) added 1.41% or 7.30 points to end at 524.50 and McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:) was up 1.01% or 3.01 points to 301.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were International Business Machines (NYSE:), which fell 6.17% or 14.36 points to trade at 218.39 at the close. Honeywell International Inc (NASDAQ:) declined 5.10% or 11.24 points to end at 209.10 and Verizon Communications Inc (NYSE:) was down 2.33% or 1.00 points to 41.86.
The top performers on the S&P 500 were Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:) which rose 21.92% to 260.48, Molina Healthcare Inc (NYSE:) which was up 17.67% to settle at 323.59 and West Pharmaceutical Services Inc (NYSE:) which gained 15.43% to close at 330.65.
The worst performers were Newmont Goldcorp Corp (NYSE:) which was down 14.70% to 49.25 in late trade, Teradyne Inc (NASDAQ:) which lost 11.02% to settle at 110.72 and Carrier Global Corp (NYSE:) which was down 8.82% to 72.90 at the close.
The top performers on the NASDAQ Composite were Cheetah Net Supply Chain Service Inc (NASDAQ:) which rose 1,531.47% to 3.09, Monopar Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:) which was up 605.40% to settle at 32.66 and NXU Inc (NASDAQ:) which gained 138.68% to close at 0.60.
The worst performers were Marinus Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:) which was down 82.49% to 0.30 in late trade, Orangekloud Technology Inc (NASDAQ:) which lost 75.69% to settle at 1.85 and Lilium NV (NASDAQ:) which was down 61.50% to 0.21 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the New York Stock Exchange by 1475 to 1333 and 69 ended unchanged; on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 1736 fell and 1550 advanced, while 121 ended unchanged.
Shares in Marinus Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:) fell to all time lows; falling 82.49% or 1.39 to 0.30. Shares in Monopar Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 605.40% or 28.03 to 32.66. Shares in Orangekloud Technology Inc (NASDAQ:) fell to all time lows; falling 75.69% or 5.76 to 1.85. Shares in Lilium NV (NASDAQ:) fell to 3-years lows; down 61.50% or 0.33 to 0.21.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.70% or 19.00 to $2,748.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.42% or 0.30 to hit $70.47 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.36% or 0.27 to trade at $74.69 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.43% to 1.08, while USD/JPY fell 0.60% to 151.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 103.89.
