Investing.com – Italy stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the added 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the were Iveco Group NV (BIT:), which rose 3.24% or 0.32 points to trade at 10.03 at the close. Meanwhile, Saipem SpA (BIT:) added 3.16% or 0.07 points to end at 2.19 and Tenaris SA (BIT:) was up 1.89% or 0.28 points to 14.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Unipol Gruppo Finanziario Spa (BIT:), which fell 1.62% or 0.19 points to trade at 11.51 at the close. Nexi SpA (BIT:) declined 1.11% or 0.07 points to end at 5.86 and Hera (BIT:) was down 0.98% or 0.04 points to 3.62.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 264 to 241 and 45 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.82% or 1.28 to $71.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.77% or 1.32 to hit $75.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.50 to trade at $2,749.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.16% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 104.06.
