Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:), which rose 6.18% or 6.80 points to trade at 116.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:) added 4.98% or 3.60 points to end at 75.90 and MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 4.57% or 1.85 points to 42.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 7.12% or 0.19 points to trade at 2.48 at the close. Nahdi Medical Co (TADAWUL:) declined 3.86% or 5.00 points to end at 124.40 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 3.85% or 0.01 points to 0.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 166 to 131 and 26 ended unchanged.
Shares in Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:) rose to 5-year highs; up 4.98% or 3.60 to 75.90. Shares in Nahdi Medical Co (TADAWUL:) fell to all time lows; down 3.86% or 5.00 to 124.40.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.02% or 1.36 to $68.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.99% or 1.41 to hit $72.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 12.85 to trade at $2,793.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.07% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 104.29.
