Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Astra Industrial Group (TADAWUL:), which rose 7.10% or 11.80 points to trade at 178.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu (TADAWUL:) added 5.95% or 3.30 points to end at 58.80 and Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:) was up 5.42% or 0.41 points to 7.97 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:), which fell 5.75% or 8.00 points to trade at 131.20 at the close. Americana Restaurants (TADAWUL:) declined 4.60% or 0.11 points to end at 2.28 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:) was down 3.37% or 0.44 points to 12.62.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 154 to 143 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Americana Restaurants (TADAWUL:) fell to all time lows; losing 4.60% or 0.11 to 2.28. Shares in Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; up 5.42% or 0.41 to 7.97.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.90% or 0.62 to $69.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.90% or 0.65 to hit $72.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 15.65 to trade at $2,785.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.19% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 103.76.
