Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:), which rose 8.61% or 133.00 points to trade at 1,678.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TASE:) added 8.36% or 6,950.00 points to end at 90,080.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.99% or 1,110.00 points to 28,910.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.67% or 154.00 points to trade at 5,621.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) declined 2.19% or 107.00 points to end at 4,775.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:) was down 1.97% or 1,290.00 points to 64,140.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 251 to 214 and 75 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.09% or 1.45 to $70.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.96% or 1.43 to hit $74.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.40 to trade at $2,749.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.03% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS rose 0.85% to 4.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 103.63.
