Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the fell 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the were Leonardo SpA (BIT:), which rose 3.72% or 0.81 points to trade at 22.57 at the close. Meanwhile, Banca Popolare di Sondrio ScpA (BIT:) added 2.71% or 0.19 points to end at 7.20 and Interpump Group (BIT:) was up 1.81% or 0.74 points to 41.64 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ferrari NV (BIT:), which fell 7.06% or 30.90 points to trade at 407.00 at the close. Moncler SpA (BIT:) declined 1.71% or 0.85 points to end at 48.95 and ERG (BIT:) was down 1.46% or 0.30 points to 20.26.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 268 to 237 and 41 ended unchanged.
Shares in ERG (BIT:) fell to 3-years lows; losing 1.46% or 0.30 to 20.26.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.47% or 1.05 to $72.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.29% or 0.97 to hit $76.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 3.85 to trade at $2,750.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.42% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.12% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 103.41.
