Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the fell 0.45% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Orkla ASA (OL:), which rose 1.29% or 1.30 points to trade at 101.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:) added 1.26% or 0.14 points to end at 10.87 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:) was up 1.22% or 1.40 points to 116.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:), which fell 35.13% or 22.94 points to trade at 42.36 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:) declined 3.43% or 2.46 points to end at 69.34 and Tomra Systems ASA (OL:) was down 3.31% or 5.20 points to 151.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 177 to 104 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 35.13% or 22.94 to 42.36.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.87% or 2.08 to $70.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.55% or 1.93 to hit $73.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 11.25 to trade at $2,694.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.71% to 11.82, while USD/NOK rose 1.29% to 11.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 104.62.
