Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:), which rose 4.82% or 75.00 points to trade at 1,630.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) added 2.37% or 410.00 points to end at 17,690.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:) was up 1.86% or 1,590.00 points to 87,290.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:), which fell 24.71% or 3,630.00 points to trade at 11,060.00 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.60% or 50.00 points to end at 1,871.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.51% or 145.00 points to 5,635.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 237 to 215 and 87 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.37% or 410.00 to 17,690.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.15% or 2.22 to $68.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.87% or 2.12 to hit $71.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.75% or 74.00 to trade at $2,620.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.14% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS fell 0.53% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 105.50.
