Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the added 0.99%, while the index climbed 1.63%, and the index climbed 0.52%.

Meanwhile, Siemens Energy AG (ETR:) added 4.02% or 0.95 points to end at 24.58 and Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (ETR:) was up 2.73% or 2.38 points to 89.64 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zalando SE (ETR:), which fell 3.86% or 0.87 points to trade at 21.67 at the close. SAP SE (ETR:) declined 0.88% or 1.60 points to end at 179.46 and E.ON SE (ETR:) was down 0.08% or 0.01 points to 12.60.
The top performers on the MDAX were HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which rose 11.78% to 5.44, Hochtief AG (ETR:) which was up 9.98% to settle at 109.10 and Rational AG (ETR:) which gained 3.81% to close at 830.00.
The worst performers were Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which was down 2.15% to 88.65 in late trade, Encavis AG (ETR:) which lost 0.88% to settle at 16.83 and CTS Eventim AG (ETR:) which was down 0.25% to 78.70 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR:) which rose 3.65% to 66.80, Jenoptik AG (ETR:) which was up 3.19% to settle at 27.16 and Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which gained 3.12% to close at 8.59.
The worst performers were Atoss Software AG (ETR:) which was down 4.42% to 110.40 in late trade, Suess Microtec NA O.N. (ETR:) which lost 4.39% to settle at 56.60 and Kontron AG (ETR:) which was down 2.26% to 19.48 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 436 to 190 and 39 ended unchanged.
Shares in Covestro AG (ETR:) rose to 52-week highs; up 5.11% or 2.62 to 53.86. Shares in Rational AG (ETR:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 3.81% or 30.50 to 830.00. Shares in Atoss Software AG (ETR:) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.42% or 5.10 to 110.40.

Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.45% or 10.45 to $2,341.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 1.05% or 0.85 to hit $81.58 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 0.94% or 0.79 to trade at $85.12 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.37% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.05% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 105.17.
